"Tola, for me it is a vital part of my life, at home all my life we have had a dog and the truth is that it would be very difficult for me to live without the company of a dog, I have a very disorganized life and the routine of walks with the dog is the only stable thing I have."

Where are you and where are you from?

I am Tas Careaga and I am from Bilbao.

Who is your dog/s?

My dog is Tola, for me she is a vital part of my life.

What is your passion?

What I am most passionate about is turning things that have no value into things with value; a house in ruins, an old piece of furniture, some leftover beams... I'm not talking about an economic value, I'm talking about a utility. I think a big problem of society is that it discards/throws things away instead of reusing them, and that is totally unsustainable.

"I work with colors, when you design anything, color is very important, but as a personal choice I don't usually use colors. The book I told you about before is in black and white, I always wear black and in decoration despite having colorful pieces, I always look for neutral tones"

Who is your muse/s or life reference/s?

The people I have around me... I've never had star referents... The people who inspire me are the ones who sit at my table, with whom I take a walk or with whom I skate.

What is the way you like to express yourself?

I've gone through many stages, the only thing that has lasted me all my life is skateboarding... Although lately it's a little bit aside because of the chaos of my life, it's always in my thoughts... a few years ago I published a photography book, and I think I managed to express a lot through it... But I don't think that neither of the two (skateboarding and photography) are a way to express...

Is there anything you give a damn about?

Almost everything hahahaha. Anything I can't change (other people's lives, politics etc).

What is the most indomitable moment or situation of your life?

Mmmmmm, I think life in general... As a situation I will always remember the day I signed the contract of sale in the basilica of Begoña with the lawyers of the bishopric, all serious, formal and I showed up with the look I wear 95% of the days (black pants and black t-shirt). It was quite filmy.

What are the quotidian objects or pieces of clothing that you value the most? How do they relate to your personal expression?

I have very little attachment to physical things. Over the years I have lived in different places and I have left places that I have renovated, furniture that I have bought and objects that I have created with my hands... Today there are only two pieces of furniture that I would take with me: my great-grandmother's glass cabinet and a marble table from my aunt that has been at home all my life... There are also certain plants that I am fond of, that have made several moves with me. The only thing that comes with me wherever I go is Tola.

How does color play a role in your daily life?

I work with colors, when you design anything, color is very important, but as a personal choice I don't usually use colors. The book I told you about before is in black and white, I always wear black and in decoration despite having colorful pieces, I always look for neutral tones.

If your dog were a color, what color do you think it would be?

Black.

Your dog's most indomitable moment or situation?

When she was a puppy she was a free soul, if she was focused on something it was IMPOSSIBLE for her to pay attention to you....

Collar or harness? What are the must-have accessories you have for your dog?

Aesthetically, collar, but for big dogs, harness. Tola was diagnosed with Wobbler, and if I had her in harness all her life, she would probably be better off... Now I always wear her in harness.

What is your favorite combination with Indómito pieces?

Black harness.
