Who are you and where are you from?

I am María, co-founder of the Échale Guindas Gallery, in Pelayo Street, Madrid.

Who is your dog/s?

Curra is my dog. She is 11 years old. In appearance she has always looked like a puppy, inside she has always been a bit of a manic lady.

What is your passion?

I am passionate about movies, reading, flowers, jazz and, of course, art.

Who is your muse/s or life reference/s?

People who are involved in the defense of the environment and the fight for animal rights.

What is the medium with which you like to express yourself?

In the gallery I have found many means of expression: the creation and design of the space, the mounting of the exhibitions, the selection of artists, the newsletter, our Instagram account, the conversations with visitors... All these things are daily tools of expression for me.

Is there anything you give a damn about?

I have difficulty avoiding not caring about things. But I can say that I have little concern for what people will say.

The most indomitable moment or situation of your life?

Start a business from scratch.

What are the personal everyday objects or items of clothing that you value the most? How do they relate to your personal expression?

My books, my collection of ceramics, my wall full of works of art and, although they have been gone for many years, my old video collection of vintage cinema. All these things are part of me and reflect interests and tastes that are very much my own.

How does color play a role in your daily life?

I like color in art, in movies, in life in general. However, I tend to surround myself with very neutral colors at home. I prefer calm when it comes to my personal spaces, it helps me relax.

If your dog were a color, what color do you think it would be?

I always associate Currita with two colors: black because she looks a bit like a bat, and pink because of her constant habit of giving me kisses with her little pink tongue.

Your dog's most indomitable moment or situation?

She is indomitable from head to toe. A human in a dog's body.

Collar or harness? What are the must-have accessories you have for your dog?

Harness. Curra is only interested in her ball, the same one for many years. It is an indestructible toy, the only one she hasn't been able to deal with. She ignores everything else, doesn't use her bed and doesn't like accessories.

What is your favorite combination with Indomito's pieces?

The 'bat wings' accessory is the most perfect and wonderful accessory I have ever come across. In fact, I might add BATMAN to the things I'm passionate about in the third question!!!!
